Membership Opportunities
The Association accepts members from all backgrounds and careers.  We have a membership base that includes persons from several states and even the UK!  There are different levels of membership to apply for, based on your choosing.  To Join the Association, please attend any meeting and fill out an application for membership.  All new members are subject to a $25.00 initiation fee, and annual dues of $25.00 per year, pro-rated based on the month your membership is accepted.

• Regular Member
  Must attend at least two (2) meetings per year to keep active status, and be a member in good standing.  Regular members are allowed to participate in all Association activities and cast votes on issues.  Regular members can run for office on the Executive Board after serving at least one full year in good standing.  Dues fee is $25.00 (payable in January of each new year), which includes subscription to "The Straight Tip" newsletter.
  

• Associate Member
  Associate members are allowed to participate in all Association activities, however are not privileged to cast votes on issues.  Associate members are exempt from attending meetings in order to maintain status in good standing.  Dues fee is $25.00 (payable in January of each new year), which includes subscription to "The Straight Tip" newsletter. 

• (Junior Member)
  Junior memberships are taken into consideration when a regular or associate member sponsors an immediate family member between the ages of 16-18 years of age for membership.  Junior members are allowed to participate in all Association activities under the supervision of an adult family member.  Upon reaching the age of 18, the member can apply to have their status changed to Regular or Associate Membership.  Dues fee is $20.00 (payable in January of each new year), which includes a subscription to "The Straight Tip" newsletter.  Junior members can waive their subscription if the adult member of the household also receives the newsletter, and pay $10.00, without receiving their own copy of the newsletter. 

• Newsletter Subscriber
  Newsletter subscribers are entitled to 12 monthly issues of "The Straight Tip", the newsletter of the NJMFPA.  There is no requirements to maintain membership, and all subscribers are welcome to attend Association activities at the regular or "Guest" admission price/cost. Subscriptions are renewed on an annual basis on the calendar month of renewal.  Price for one year is $15.00.
